When you are grateful you have contentment and peace. When you are grateful you can gracefully hold your head high.
Do you have a reason to be grateful?
Do you have clothes to wear everyday?
Do you have food in you cupboards?
Do you have a roof above you?
Do you have a bed to lay your head at night?
Do you wake up able to move your body and step out of bed?
Do you have a reason to smile everyday?
Do you have the ability to walk down the street without fear of war?
Do you have a reason to be grateful?
There is always something to be grateful about– sunshine, ability to walk, smile, laugh, see talk, and the list goes on.The simplest of the pleasures are often what bring about the most gratitude. Imagine going months without seeing the sun shine, imagine not being able to see period. There are times when we may feel down, but it is in these times that we need to be reminded that there is always something to say thank you for. Be sure to also tell the people around you how thankful you are for them. The neighbour who shovels your sidewalk, your friend who always makes you laugh, your children who make you smile- tell them thank you.
Be sure to also tell the people around you how grateful you are for them.
Share a time when you were overcome with gratitude. Was it a friend, a neighbour, a random act of kindness- any story- we want to hear. Or feel free to share the reason you are thankful every single day- we are all breathing so that is one thing to be grateful for.
