In a short time I’ve had the opportunity to get exposure to many different roles. From managing teams, both hourly and salaried to being an individual contributor learning our front line roles to more currently managing two of our largest National accounts for Western Canada. We operate at a very high pace and have extremely high expectations for performance. Because of this, my learning curves have always been incredibly steep. I love it & I thrive off it. But If there’s one thing that’s resonated with me and gotten me through some of the toughest days it’s to “Be Comfortable with being Uncomfortable”. Every role I’ve gone into, I’ve had no prior experience – but I think there’s no better way than to raise your hand and take full ownership of the challenge in front of you. That’s the only way you’ll get better both personally and professionally.
