Drumheller:
The Gem In the Heart of the Badlands
Only a short drive from Calgary lies a gem filled with breathtaking views and experiences. My boyfriend and my 2 little sisters and I took a day trip to Drumheller, Alberta and had such a fun filled day. It’s not normally easy to find a place or activity that can be enjoyed by all ages, but Drumheller had something for us all.
As soon as we drove in, we knew we made it. The landscape so unique that it no longer felt like we were in the flat prairies of Alberta. We began our day at the Devil’s Canyon and then made our way to the infamous Tyrell Muesum.
After that, our favorite part of it all- the Hoodoos! My little sisters and I agreed that it felt like we were on the set of Radium in the movie Cars or in the Land Before Time or Jurassic Park (sounds silly, but true!!). We weren’t even out of the town yet and we already wanted to come back, knowing that there was still so much for us to explore
