Start Leading Your Community
Programs such as Sea Cadets, Scouts and Duke of Edinburgh and school and community based sports exist for our youth. These activities foster an environment of disciplined, active, motivated, and involved youth. From a young age, youth are encouraged to take part in physical challenges, international opportunities, team building events and much more.
Skills learned early on will stay with a person for many years to come. So whether it is the ability to solve problems with others (camping) or pass the ball (soccer), what we learn at 5 sticks until we are 95 (and above).
I believe that ‘giving back in any form will change your life.’ We all have the power to be a leader at any age. When you are giving to your community, country aself, you will reap positive benefits for all those around you.
“I believe that ‘giving back in any form will change your life.”
So as you keep sailing on your journey of life, continue to be the humble leaders you are and watch the world around you become that much brighter.
