Beauty in the Rough
There is beauty in the rough everywhere you look. A pearl in an oyster shell; gold in the ground; or green grass under the dead grass.
Look at the picture below of the grass. Can you spot the green piece of grass?
The brightness of the world is like this little thread of grass right now. It is covered by some dead and ugly things right now but soon the moisture and sunshine will come down and the grass will sprout and cover the lands in emerald green.
Look around. How many things do you see that are similar to this little green thread of grass? Something that may seem covered up, dirty or hiding right now, but when given the opportunity it will grow. Beauty is all around us.
Pause, look around and appreciate the beauty.
