Help I need to Calm Down

Help, I need to calm down! Do you ever get that feeling that you are going to crack? What do you do when your mind is so full you can’t even breathe? Well these are feelings and emotions that wreck havoc on your health and the health of your relationships. So where are you left to turn? Yoga!

Yoga is the perfect outlet to save you physically, mentally and emotionally. When you walk into a yoga studio it is a tranquil bliss. There is a calming effect that washes over you.

When you begin the class, the teacher says that the next 60 minutes will only be you and the mat. You forget about all the schedules, deadlines and duties you have to do. You focus on solely yourself and the four corners of the mat. This is 60 minutes for you to retreat to an oasis that saves you from any overwhelming feelings.

So next time you just might crack like an egg, go do yoga. It is powerful how one thing can change your demeanour so much. Rather than being down, get into a downward dog!
